One-Act Play brings home awards from District competition
Lockhart High School Theatre performed “August: Osage County” in the District 26-5A One-Act Play competition at the Seguin Performing Arts Center this past Tuesday, March 20th. Although the play did not advance, they finished 4th and will be the alternate play to Bi-District. The students had another outstanding performance filled with passion and pride.
Director Kennedi Worthington said, “I can’t say enough about these talented, dedicated students who have represented our school well! It has been an amazing season. Please be sure to congratulate these #LISDChampions wherever you may see them. They certainly worked hard!”
LHS brought home many awards including “Best Actor,” a top award given to Deacon Snider, and “Outstanding Technician,” awarded to Julie Sessum. Cassidy Wilson-Llamas walked away with “All-Star Cast,” and Jenna Weber took “Honorable Mention All-Star Cast.”
