The Lockhart ISD Board of Trustees recognized Lockhart High School students who completed all instructional classroom, clinical experiences and state certification exams required and mandated by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability. This group is now certified and licensed by the state of Texas to practice as a certified nursing assistants.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the demand for this profession will rise at a rate of 17% by 2024. The following students truly have a bright future ahead: Jullian Sessum, Ilyssa Garcia, Olivia Longoria, and Liberty Wright
